Emily Ratajkowski has a secret talent – she’s a budding make-up artist. The 27-year-old New Yorker says she’s been obsessed with creating looks on her friends and family for years but only got “really good” three-years-ago. “When I do my girlfriends’ makeup, I do the same look,” she revealed, insisting it’s universally flattering.
Emily, who recently wed Sebastian Bear-McClard, starts by applying Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation with her fingers – explaining to Vogue that her husband calls it “finger-painting.”
For her eyebrows, the Gone Girl actress uses Maybelline Clear Great Lash Mascara to brush her naturally full arches upward. Next, Ratajkowski applies Milk Highlighter in Lit to her cheekbones and down the bridge of her nose.
Emily then generously applies a creamy earth-toned blush to her cheeks, blending the product with her fingertips, adding that she likes to pat any excess colour on her nose.
Accentuating her almond-shaped peepers, Em applies a brown eyeshadow to her eyelid – stopping at the crease – then she takes a smaller brush to apply the same pigment to the lower lashline. The eyes are finished with Glossier Lash Slick.
Lastly, the model reaches for Marc Jacobs’ Lip Creme in ‘J’Adore’. For that kissable pout, Emily applies a layer of Pat McGrath’s Lust Lip Gloss in Blitz Gold.
